Welcome to the Alternative Fuel Vehicle lab! The AFV is a place for students to become familiar with a range of alternative fuel vehicles, research new technologies and designs, and propose innovative solutions to the transportation challenges facing society. The AFV is open to committed students of all majors and all academic levels, and is operated as a partnership with JMU's Facilities Management. On this site you can read about some of the past and current projects that the AFV has pursued. For more than a decade, the AFV has helped lead JMU's efforts to stay at the forefront of alternative fuel technology.
